Well Written, Well Read

No complaints. This was a darn good Horus Heresy entry from beginning to end. Its importance might be tantamount to the first 4 novels.

Assembling of the Chaos Host

A great story collecting the traitors together as one. Now it feels like the siege can truly begin.

It’s Too Late To Apologize

This entry in the Horus Heresy made my jaw drop more than any other. Just so many badass moments and conversations about man’s choices in spite of the gods, right on the eve of the Siege of Terra.

Before listening to Vengeful Spirit, Wolfsbane, and this, I assumed that the Horus who reaches Terra would be the same as the one at Isstvan. Not so. The tragedy of the traitor legions’ downfall comes full circle and all the characters are well aware of what they lost by turning on the Imperium. It’s funny how brotherhood is what kept the loyalist legions together at the onset of the Heresy and it’s the only thing that kept the traitor legions together towards its close. Just not at the same time. But now it all has to end.

Amazing Novel

This book definitely was what it was supposednto be. the culmination of the Horus Heresy and the gravity it brought to the mustering of the traitor legions right before there assualt on Holy Terra. The interactions between all the Primarchs alone was worth it.

An excellent book

For fans of the Chaos primarchs, this book has everything. Only Magnus and Mortarion don’t make an appearance. Lorgar, Fulgrim, Perturabo, and Angron all get plenty of stage time. I really enjoyed the Sons of Horus storyline centered on Maloghurst as well.
