A good addition
I had skipped this previously, but doubling back gave it a shot. It is a solid bridge piece with some insights into other background info. Shibhan Khan is always a badass.

A must for anyone new to the 5th legion! Awesome!
This is book two of a story that is a masterful depiction of who the 5th Legion, the White Scars, is just before the Warmaster, Horus Lupercal, plunges everything into chaos. The White Scars must determine for themselves the truth of things. This book continues with two key characters from the first book; Shivan Khan and Torgun Khan, and the author did a great job bringing both characters to life. I'm expecting more 5th legion stories in the future!

This Is Why Wraight’s The Best
If you’ve ever read Chris’s work, you know his grotesque vocabulary and illustrious descriptions keep you ENGAGED. Seriously.
Also, his Primarch Jaghatai is probably the most convincing portrayal of any. He’s a Primarch, a genius and a demigod. It feels much more appropriate to see him treated as such compared to the borderline simpleton moments other authors depict of the Emperor’s Sons.
