I've always enjoyed these characters, but the author really excelled with the plot this time around. This book is well worth a credit.

The first two books in the series had different narrators, so I wasn’t at all excited to find out that ‘The Hollow Boy’ featured yet another change. Initially, I wasn’t too keen on purchasing it after listening to the sample. However, I decided to buy it anyway. In the end, I was really impressed by how Emily voiced all the characters. Her ability to change accents and voices truly stood out. My favorite renditions were of George, Skull, and Holly. It took me a while to adjust, but once I did, I was dreading the release of ‘The Creeping Shadow,’ anticipating yet another narrator change. It was a pleasant surprise and a relief to discover that Emily narrated this installment as well—and would continue for the rest of the series. I can’t imagine the characters sounding any other way now.

Great from beginning to end. Narration is really wonderful. This is one of my favorite series.

To good to put away!

Every chapter made me hang on the end of my chair. The description was perfect and it made me feel like I was there in the room every time. Plus the relationship between Lockwood and Lucy makes me melt.
