Great performance

I really liked the character voices. Well written. It was a great listening experience. I hope the next one comes out soon.

Way better than expected.

Ok I decided to give this a listen since I do like Lit rpg or Game lit, whatever you want to call the genre. Most stories are about sword swinging or spell casting, or at least a good amount of combat. This story is really about crafting. The battle or fight scenes are really secondary. A story that keeps you engaged with a likeable MC .

A smooth Entertaining story

Well written and performed. Even got my wife interested in hearing what was coming next.

Pretty good and fun

Pretty fun story to listen to. Takes a completely different approach to the main character than most fantasy books. Rarely, do we get a main character that doesn’t want to be the center of attention!

Near raider does a pretty good job, but has some odd background noises sometime. Nothing that truly interferes with the listening experience, but is noticeable and snaps you out of the story sometime. That being said, easy voice to listen to.

Great cliffhanger at the end, definitely makes you want to dive straight into the next book. Not the best book I’ve read this year, but very worth listening to!

unexpectedly Awsum

love the rpglit books,. I stopped taking the chance on unlnown authors and books with little reviews, because Amazon blocked my book returns.
Im a harsh critic, and return books that I dont click with... This one was entertaining

Slow to start but worth it

The opening is slow, almost agonizingly so. Then the pace picks up nicely.

Chess is his in-game name. One he chose based on his deep connection to the game, which he learned from his grandfather, who's a bit of a conman.

Chess had been living with his grandfather since the day he picked him up from school when he told the young boy his parents died in an accident.

Now, he's breaking many of the rules set forth by his grandpa to play the most advanced and new game!

He has a plan, but can he pull it off, or will fate step in and throw a monkey wrench into the works?

Amazing book

This was surprisingly awesome. I hesitated because of the name but it was really good. It has very little action and is primarily crafting focused. Can’t wait for number 2.

Enjoyable, unusual LitRPG

This book deals more with crafting and strategy than fighting. I like the protagonist quite a bit, the their characters were well made, and it was well narrated. This book has stats, but they are not overdone.
