Sam Dewhurst-Phillips did a spectacular job. Many distinct characters and inflections with excellent timing. He brought out the absurd comedy brilliantly.

Surprisingly enjoyable & addictive

I was not sure I’d like the first book in the series but I really did. Then I wondered if I’d like the second book in the series and I did. Surprisingly well written and wonderfully narrated, I’m really enjoying them! (And I am picky!)

just loved this I was in love with the old fashioned devices and sleuthing. I was wrong with my guesses again. that's what makes it even better.

Good mystery with a sense of humor

I enjoyed both the story and the excellent narration. The characters, especially the main one, were well developed so that they came to life as the story unfolded. Heathcliff Lennox is a pretty lovable guy and his attempts to be another Sherlock Holmes made things interesting and fun. I would recommend this Audible book.

My new favorite mystery writer and reader.

I love the history, the characters, the plot twists that aren’t quessable, and the excellent voice talents of Sam Dewhurst-Phillips. I look forward to listening to Book 3.-

Entertaining light fiction.

Kept me guessing up to the end. Major Lennox is an English born sleuth in the manner of Poirot. Good listen for a drive.

Nice Story Performed with Ambient Sounds

First from this author and found the story entertaining with very few slow spots. The story keeps moving, has its share of twists and misdirections.

The performance is well done. Again, this my first by this performer and my first with environmental sounds like dog yips. The voices are well distinguished except for one spot about 3/4 through where the main character's voice and that of the American get a bit muddled.

Story and performer are a good match.

Recommended.
