I feel bad for really enjoying this story

OK!!! I LOVE THE STORY! However, I feel bad about it bcz the mother kept being praised but made a major mistake w/this young lady very early on. I don't want to give to much but if the mother would have shut somethings down early. This young lady would have been a beast; that type of loyalty and determination in the right hands could have released a BEAST 🤷‍♀️. PLEASE LISTEN AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

Go ahead Nikki Turner with you bad self!

I've been a long time fan and your haven't let me down yet. You are truly gifted my sista...when can I expect the sequel?

this was so good best book so far for some reason it just really touched me in a deep place 👌🏽

What would have made A Hustler's Wife better?

A lot of the stuff earlier in the book. However, as it was getting towards the end it just got to be ridiculous. I understand its "urban fiction" but come on the 007 mother, planting mini cams and the attorney flying in to save the day, her driving to pick up her boyfriend because he has been "pardoned" oh but wait...before I go pick up my "husband" she sees is a cracked out woman so she does a U-turn it just happens to be her former friend. And she makes arrangements for her to go to rehab (all while on her way to the prison). The friend just happens to decide to "get help" all within a few minutes in a car.

All the "hood chicks" had the same sound - and the "ballers" had the same sound. I understand there is on person narrating but come on! At least get a male to do the male parts and a female do the female parts of the narrating.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Unsure, I can't seem to find many books on audio that I am interested in. And the prices are too high so that will determine what I read next.

Which scene was your favorite?

Can't really say. Again it was all so outlandish. But I had to keep listening because I paid for it.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not really - I am surprised. I was looking forward to this but was pretty much disappointed.

Any additional comments?

Not much can be done about the contents of the books, as they are already written. But at least lower the price because this book was semi-garbage. That's just my opinion,

Loved this book/FULL CIRCLE

Beautifully written. The new author, Nikki Turner is a new favorite. It was a well thought out book. And yes I laughed, and cried. I loved the dynamics of this book. No spiller alert - A MUST READ!
