Billie (aka "Ducati") is known as much for her extraordinary beauty as for the sexy yellow Ducati motorcycle she rides through the mean streets of Los Angeles. Tough, talented, and self-assured, Billie's used to doing things her way - but that was before love threw an oil slick in the road and spun her life into chaos.

Soon all eyes shift as everyone finds themselves desperately chasing Destiny, a troubled and deceptive girl dancing on the edge of womanhood. When the rubber meets the road, all the madness with Billie, Carmen, and Keith comes to a head. Everyone's fighting dirty for what they want...and they're all willing to destroy their enemy or go down in flames to get it.

Couldn't stop listening

This is a well written story that could easily be made into a movie. What really got me was the way the Narrator brought the story and Characters to life any time someone spoke you knew who it was so I will be looking for more audio books narrated by Kimberly Jajuan. Great Listen.

The book was excellent by all means. What I didn't like so much is the narrative part when the languages switched up, it was not realistic. other than that the book was all that I would want.

This Book Was Freakin' Phenomenal!!!

Chasing Destiny was sooooooooooo good! This is another EJD book that grabs you from the very first sentence and sucks you in all the way to the end. These characters were a boiling pot of hot funky mess. You have adultery, hateful exes, a couple on the verge of divorce, racial identity crisis, psycho grandparents willing to do anything to protect their ADULT child, a husband torn between doing the right thing versus doing what his heart wants, and a daughter forced to face the horrible consequences from one night of poor decision making. Whew chile! Drama, drama, drama! I really liked how the character’s lives intertwined throughout the book. There was a lot of six degrees of separation going on. Kimberly JaJuan did a phenomenal job narrating. She gave these characters life. Her Jamaican and Korean accents were spot on! It's a shame this is the only book she narrates on Audible. I honestly don't understand why there are so many negative reviews from so called EJD "fans." But, I’ve come to realize he has a certain writing style that’s not for everyone. You either love it or you hate it. I absolutely loved this book. The characters were well developed and the story line was very much relatable. Chasing Destiny was an intoxicating read that is full of real life marital strife a lot of couples go through. It was steamy, riveting, intriguing, and witty with just the right amount of drama. EJD has, once again, outdone himself.

Every April, I await for my EJD fix. I was so saddened by his passing. I decided to purchase all his works. I honestly forgot how good his older works were. I miss your work EJD! Awesome writing as always. Stayed engaged the entire time.

A VERY ANIMATED LISTEN!!!!

THIS IS A GOOD BOOK TO LISTEN TO. I MUST SAY THAT THE NARRATION FOR THIS BOOK WAS GREAT BECAUSE IT MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN THE STORY AND U ARE WATCHING IT HAPPEN BEFORE YOUR EYES. THERE WERE A LOT OF MOMENTS THAT WERE USED IN THIS BOOK THAT HAD ME LMAO!!! AND PEOPLE WOULD WONDER WHAT IS SO FUNNY. I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE AUTHOR AND NARRATOR DID A GOOD JOB AND IF THIS NARRATOR WAS TO READ ANOTHER BOOK I WOULD LISTEN IN A HEART BEAT!!!!
