Fire!

This book was so much fun. I loved the destined fates for the couple and for each character individually. I loved that their past didn’t prevent them from having a future and that love did indeed conquer all their insecurities and doubts. I just loved this story. The narrators were perfect for their roles to the point that even the pacing of their speech fit the character’s personality. So well done!

Read the physical book instead

This was a sweet story, but I think I would’ve enjoyed it more reading the physical book. I found myself having to push through the last four hours because of the narration. The narrator’s voices weren’t monotone, but they did not change the tone for different characters.

This was delightful! Characters change ad grow which is nice. The people in the story are interesting and love the differences that mean the main characters three dimensional. The baby dragons are fantastic! Will definitely get the following books as they come out.

It was like a middle schooler on wattpad. Plot wasn’t good characters weren’t good… it just was not impressive. I’m all for cozy fantasy but this was like reading one of my student’s essays.

Terrible Male Narrator

I loved this cozy story, but the male narrators was not it. He had ridiculously long pauses for no reason between sentences even at 2x speed so that was annoying. The female narrator was great!

Baby dragons and a love story!

Loved this book! It reminded me of a hallmark movie mixed with baby dragons. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweet love story with minimal spice.

Cute in a Middle School kind of way.

It was definitely a youth type of reading. I felt like they were reading to a group of 12 years olds. I'm sure it reads the same. So not bad but not good for me as an educated adult.

This book was such a surprising win — fun, cozy, and full of heart. It’s the epitome of a comfort read, the kind of story that feels like wrapping yourself in a blanket with a warm drink. ☕️

I would love to visit Saphira’s little café, order one of her signature drinks, and watch baby dragons wander around the tables — who could possibly resist that image? 🐉 The setting was so cinematic that I could picture every detail in my head. 🎬

But what really made this book special was how it went beyond the cozy premise. Enter Aidan — from a powerful dragon family — who wants nothing to do with his baby dragon. His reluctant partnership with Saphira slowly turns into something much deeper, and watching that bond grow was so rewarding. 💕

It’s got everything I love: a grumpy vs. sunshine dynamic, dual narration, and even a fake marriage twist I didn’t see coming. 🫶 The writing leans YA, but with slightly more mature emotional moments (one spice scene).

lacking pretty much everything, especially magic

This slice of life romance lacked depth and substance. everything was easy, everything was "perfect". I was also disappointed that the only magic was that there were dragons, they don't talk or are really their own characters. a lot of the dialog was cliche and seemed disjointed. also the narrators never changed their voices or tones to give distinction for the different characters.
