When you look around you, you see all these people happily in love and singing poems about the wonders of love. And then you are confused why you are not able to feel anything on those lines. All you feel is a pit in your stomach, a sense of fear and of always being on edge, but all you did was love, right? You did or are doing everything right, yet this “love” does not seem to be magical or does not seem to be healing you; rather, it appears to be destroying you by driving you crazy, and you notice that you have changed not for good.

Resumen del Editor
Discover how to break through your insecurities, and armor up into a person who is confident, kind, and unafraid to face challenges.
Has your upbringing left you with deep wounds that can’t seem to heal? You battle with debilitating low self-esteem, rejection, and a toxic, self-blaming attitude all because you didn’t receive the proper love and security from your caregivers that you deserved.
You have no motivation to do more with your life, because you have insecurities that have forced you into a locked cage. But you’re not alone. I have experienced first-hand what it’s like being raised in an insecure environment. Growing up with a narcissistic, controlling, and hard-to-please father made the start of my life difficult. But in relatable ways, I’ve discovered how to look at the other side of the coin. What if I choose to let go of my past and stop trying so hard to get others to accept me? What if I focus on knowing my worth and loving myself?
With deep compassion, my personal experiences, and a rich supply of information coming out of more than 1,000 hours of study, I will help you:
- Identify the unhealthy patterns of a self-blaming attitude, so you can then work on forgiving yourself.
- Crush the power that guilt and shame have over your life by explaining how burying them in your heart can hinder you.
- Pulverize the walls you have put up to protect yourself, and show you the charming benefits of vulnerability, and how it frees you from a life of loneliness.
Challenge the belief that perfection equals acceptance. Instead, I will show you that it's failures that later birth successes.
Put on an armor of love, the same one that has helped me overcome my struggles with low self-esteem and rejection.

Historia
The average divorce takes two years with a median cost of $30,000. Yet the true cost of divorce is more than time or money; it is the legacy of the decisions made during the process. No matter how long two people have been married, whether there are children or not, divorce often leads to bad choices that can forever alter a family's life. But what if you could reverse the stereotype and move regret-free through this process?

"Most people think of love as a feeling," says David Richo, "but love is not so much a feeling as a way of being present." In this audiobook, Richo offers a fresh perspective on love and relationships - one that focuses not on finding an ideal mate, but on becoming a more loving and realistic person. Drawing on the Buddhist concept of mindfulness, How to Be an Adult in Relationships explores five hallmarks of mindful loving and how they play a key role in our relationships throughout life.

Educational Advice Book
I found "The Art of Being Unbothered" to be very informative because it was able to break a person's personality down to the bare bones. I love the honesty that the author used about her own childhood it brought a kinship that will resonate with readers. Narrator Celina Saucedo really helps with her phenomenal skill of making it real. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand why we are drawn to certain personalities while repelled by others. This is my honest unbiased review.
