Loved this boxed set thriller

I love the constant plot twists and character building. Great series. Highly recommend this thriller boxes set

Suspense

I liked that it was long and had many characters. Love virtual narration but there were repeats and mispronunciations. I enjoyed this.

Virtual voice

It’s just not there yet, this is the first time I listen to a book it by virtual voice and I have to admit I did not care for it at all.

I hate the virtual reading absolutely hate it!

I absolutely really dislike the virtual voice! The emotions are put in the wrong place and I hate when she calls the private investigator P. I. A pie. It took everything I had to get through this book, the storyline was great, I just wish I would’ve heard it with a different reader.

Great series

I enjoyed the books a lot but the AI voice made it a bit difficult to listen to at times. Overall still worth the listen

disappointed with A.I. performance

the a.i. performance was quite monotone to the point of being distracting. I think the plot was good, but where 100 words would suffice, 400 were written. compound that withe the a.i. reading caused my mind to go blank, allowed me to get lost in the story line, and to lose interest in the book.

Good story

I have yet to listen to a story with an AI narrator that I’ve actually enjoyed, this story included. I do not enjoy the lack of inflection or emotion when they are reading it. The storyline was good, a bit long, but I made it till the end. Would I listen to it again, probably not definitely no more AI generated narrators for me.

Great series

But I absolutely hated the AI reading. I really wish this was narrated by a true person, would have made the series so much better.

Couldn’t get past the virtual narration.

I liked the first few chapters of the story and I would have loved to finish the books but the unemotional robot narrator kept distracting me from the story. Please no more virtual narration!

Good storyline but greatly diminished by AI voice.

First time listening to reading by virtual voice-AI. I do not want to impune the author at all, storyline of the whole series seems pretty creative, but virtual voice really does impact the experience. Intonation and catching the nuances of plot is missing. Much lost due to tuning out the “voice” with limited range and missing the mark emphasizing dramatic moments or word pronunciation.
