drawn out,

I was mostly bored. this woman realized something was wrong give seconds into the story but hemmed and hawed for six hours. not bad, but not very exciting.

Confusing

I loved parts of this, but I had a really hard time keeping track of all the characters. It got really annoying after a while.

On and on ad nauseum

So much of the same theme over and over. Joan is upset. Joan can't stand it. Joan will lose her baby etc.

Interesting story with different plot lines thanI have seen before.

Starts out idyllic, but is it real? Through many twists and turns we learn of a lot more about the main protagonist and why she keeps getting in her own way while trying to escape. Good read.

Bizarre but good

At first I thought it was going to be a predictable story, pregnant lady, boyfriend's hometown. But oh no.. twists and turns I wasn't expecting. It was bizarre. But ended up with a happy ending.

Finally a book with a different twist!

This book was incredible! Everything I’ve read by Jess Lourey has been incredible! Can’t wait to pick my next read!

It keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Awesome story! Had a little tweak of "Rosemary's Baby" to it but way more realistic. I don't have one negative thing to say about it the book. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

Good story!

I half heartedly started listening to this but after a few chapters I was hooked and now that I’ve finished it, I’m happy I did. Definitely worth the listen.

Rosemary’s Baby?

I started this book like most others with hope that toss would be my next great read/listen but sadly, I was disappointed. I solve stopped when it became predictable but I had hope. I can’t walk out of a bad movie either.

Hard to follow

Maybe I'm simple-minded, but it was hard to keep the characters straight in this book. They changed names, too. Strange storyline and a kind of sci-fi but I stayed until the end.
