What did I just read

Crazy off the charts story. I was like whaaaat? Didn’t see that coming. Loved. That’s it. No spoilers

Brilliant

Turkey excellent. Loads of suspense and superbly read. Never wanted it to end and can’t wait for her next book

Unhinged but so good.

This storyline is CRAZY but Jess Lourey is one of my favorite authors. I love her characters, the way the story flows, subtle humor, and this one is a thriller up to the very end. Also, I loved the narration on this even though I normally read her books in print.

I absolutely loves Jess’s writing! Another amazing story twists and unseen turns everywhere!! I need more!! 😃

Unexpected twists

Great storyline, wonderful character development and female empowerment. great read. I strongly recommend this book and author

Disappointing story

Narrator was pretty good. The plot line was borderline absurd. I like the author in general but this was a flop. I skipped over entire passages at the end just to see how it turned out. But meh, kind of a waste of time.

The gaslighting!!!!

I had to stop several times to let my body regulate the gaslighting was so intense.

Great plot

The book was great for the very beginning. I couldn’t wait to get to the end.

Weird but True

I almost stopped reading this at first, thinking it was another Handmaid's Tale; I am currently reading to take me away from that reality. I soon got caught up in it as a mystery and was surprised athow it ended and THEN was reminded it was based on true events!

Middle of the road

Interesting storyline, but man this was overly dramatic. The ending didn’t quite live up to the expectations I built based on how dramatic the beginning & middle of the story was. It almost felt rushed.
