How you respond to rejection is so important!

This past year has brought me face to face with some challenging experiences of rejection. Kait covers all the areas that, as women, we have to move forward through. I pre-ordered this book because Kait's Heart of Dating podcast has been a blessing in my life! A lot of the chapters echoed what she openly talks about on her podcast. It's some raw, super encouraging content over the topic of rejection that doesn't get talked about enough!

Powerful and practical lessons for anyone!

I have gone through my fair share of feelings of rejection (friends, relationships, jobs...). Needless to say you name it I've prob been there. So listening to Kait talk about her own experiences, and then couple those with practical teaching applications from renown professionals; along with her own life journey revelations was like a giant - YES!!! She gets it!

I think this book is applicable whether you are in a place of feeling rejected now, or are just needing to strengthen some areas of your life now for when the inevitable hits (and unfortunately it's "when" not "if"). The takeaways for me have reinforced my own life lessons, and equipped me with new ways to walking into the lessons still to come.

I will also add (as a guy) that even though Kait writes this through her own lenses the principles are for everyone! So whether guy or girl this book is a great tool for the ol' relationship tool belt. 5 stars all around!

Interesting/helpful way of seeing things

I loved the premise and purpose of the book. I think it was laid out well. I am a Christian so the bible verse references didn't bother me. In some ways I wish the book hadn't included them because I think more women will listen and hear their stories and hear real life (not just a Christian's life) experiences and real life solutions. I felt happy to have experienced rejection at the end of the book and am not fearful of it in the future! It's always nice to have the author narrate a book if they have a good voice. I guess Kait has a podcast that many people listen to and enjoy. I had a hard time getting used to her voice though. I'm in my late 50s. She's friendly and pleasant though.
