Good fantasy story with excellent narration

I really like this series a lot and the characters. It's interesting how it's the warriors versus the wizards kind of conflict but it's the first class narration by David Tennant for all the different characters and the action of the story that makes it fantastic.

The Fun Continues!

I love these books so much I've listened to them multiple times. They are so much fun! David Tennant is a brilliant narrator with a wide range of voices and, of course, fantastic acting. Magic, adventure, giants, spoons, flying doors, and well written prose. This series is now one of my favorites!

Great second book

This was a great continuation of the first story. It filled in some details on secondary characters which was nice to fill out the world a bit more. Again, the narration was amazing - leaving me to say that when my children read this book I will actually have them listen!

A fun romp.

I absolutely loved the How to Train your Dragon series, I recommend it to everybody, young or old. So of course, I had to give this one a try and it is almost as good. I loved it, and I can’t wait until the next book comes out. I also love David Tennent in this series, he really enhances the listening experience. He makes the story that much more fun.

this book is a wonderous novel. the story flows perfectly, not lingering to long on any certain part. David Tennet does a wonderful job with the different voices for the characters.

A perfect match!

The story and narrator are perfectly paired in this series. Cressida Cowell’s imaginative and meaningful storytelling and David Tennant’s creatively expressive narration are a pure delight! One of the most entertaining audiobooks I’ve listened to. My daughter and grandson have also been listening and reading along with the books to improve his reading skills, which is an excellent and effective combination. Clearly a winner for all ages!

Excellent book well performed for age 13 and up

Excellent book that is well performed by David Tenet. I would recommend for age 13 and up.
