I'm not a fan of cliffhangers.....probably due to the fact that I'm impatient and feel as though I need immediate closure, but this was an amazing book.

Huge Cliffhanger!

I really enjoy Cristin Harder’s stories and this one has so much angst and emotion! The hero and heroine have known each other all their lives. She is his best friend’s younger sister. When we meet them in this book they are in college, still see each other often but secretly in love with the other without them knowing it. When they finally decide on a future together, tragedy steps in. I know I’m going to buy the next audiobook in this series right now. Narration was excellent.

Great series! Don't miss it!

Cash and Nicola had a fairy tale romance sort of love.. Every girl deserves a "Cash" in their life.

Where to begin! Cash and Niki are just so perfect for each other and with a twist at the end I hope there is a sequel soon!!!

Sweet Girl

Sweet Girl is the story of Cah and Nicola as college students. We learn how they met, loved each other for years without the other knowing. Cash finally tells her that he loves her, always has. Nicola is hesitant to reveal her feeling for him but finally does. They are together for a few weeks. No one but Nicola's roommate knows about their relationship. They decide it's time to tell Roman , Nicola's brother and Cash's best friend, about them. Let's just nothing goes as planned. This is the Prequel to Garrison's Creed so there is definitely a cliffhanger.

Narration by Jeffrey Kafer was great.

A heartbreaking love story

The author captured young love at its richest.
I loved the story, but the lump in my throat hurts! I’ve read the Titan series, and I’m getting ready for the second read, but hadn’t read the prequel. (Great?) addition to the series.

Where does Sweet Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I Loved Jeffrey Kafer's voice! He separated each character in such a believable way. I enjoyed listening to the tone of his voice as well.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cash, of course! He was such a strong "leading man". I loved his cowboy hat wearing, don't give a flip attitude. When he finally admitted that he loved Nic and always had everything he did was so romantic. I love stories with a lot of romance.

Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?

Cash. He sounded just as I would have imagined Cash to sound. Jeffrey did such a great job on all the voices.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It was definitely a hard story to put down. There was a lot of suspense with keeping their romance a secret from and their friends and family. Also, when the bad guys got involved it was nail bitting!

Any additional comments?

I absolutely HATE that this book was a cliffhanger. If I had known before I purchased this book I would not have bought it. As a reader I feel very cheated with cliffhanger books! I try very hard to NOT buy any book that has a cliffhanger story line. Very disappointed with that aspect of this book/purchase.

Great outside of cliffhanger ending!

Wish this hadn't been a novella. It exploited the older brother's best friend trope and low key secret romance and was so well done, I'm a little upset it ended in a cliffhanger that wasn't a happy ending(Im guessing to get to know the characters in a full length, but I'm not sure it'll interest me like this book did). It had a total NA vibe, was kinda slut shamey in some parts though, sometimes you have to stomach things for a good story. The narrator was on point and Nicola and Cash were so cute together I wanted to throw up!

Holy cow this one is good. Worth a listen if you don’t mind some tears.
