Acerca de esta escucha

When British geologists discover the world's largest oil reserves under the desolate, icy tundra of Antarctica, Britain, and Chile form a top-secret alliance for control of petroleum resources that will rival the economic power of OPEC. But when their discovery is uncovered by an Argentinean intelligence officer, a surprise-attack against a secret British outpost in Antarctica triggers a war. Britain and Chile are in a military standoff against Venezuela and Argentina, and when the war escalates, Britain asks America for help. For two couples separated by the battle, the outcome will be either love reunited or devastating heartbreak. For a young British boy living with his mother in London, his father's life is on the line. And for Pete Miranda, an American sub commander detailed on a special military assignment to his father's homeland of Chile, will his fate be a crushing death under the icy-cold waters of the Antarctic Ocean, or a future of life, light, and a second chance for love?

This reader had so many great voices and sound effects it made listening a real pleasure! The story was great too!

Best reader ever!

Warning: Despite listed as 3rd book in series it has nothing to do with the original two books in the series. None of the characters in previous books are in this book. Otherwise, it's an okay book.

Lots of action and intriguing story! (Would not like to be in a sub in warfare!) I read Christian novels and I liked the bit of truth woven in. But not too much for those who don’t want that. Love his stories!

Great!

The underlying story had some merit until the author started to inject right wing evangelical nonsense. He obviously did not check fact the details, the most glaring suggesting the Queen Elizabeth is a nuclear carrier, which of course it is not. The prayer sessions woven into the narrative of the story made me quite literally gag! The English are not demonstratively religious and do not overtly push their religious beliefs on other people. There’s no way they would suddenly break out in prayer as the author suggests! That we leave to the right wing evangelicals in America!

Rubbish

My title says it all. Story is very predictable and simplistic. The religious preaching undertones are annoying and don’t add anything to the story.
