Worst narrator

The story wasn’t that bad but the narration was awful and very borrowing. I don’t recommend it.

So so story

Rather a dragging story even with the murder in the third chapter. So so mystery marred by a narrator with a rather whining voice, but she did match the whining of the MC

Good story but bad narration

The story was good or j wouldn’t have continued. The narration sounded like clueless — OMG whatever - dry and low. When she got into a character she dropped the long words - but it was bad ! Story line was great

This book was certainly fun to read.the characters were pretty crazy and interesting. I want to read more books in this series.

good plot, whiney narrator

It took a bit for me to get past the whiney narrators voice but, the plot was interesting enough, a decent thing to listen to in between diaper changes and house chores.

Worst narrator ever

Book was ok. Would have been better with a different narrator. Absolutely atrocious. Painful to listen to.

Boring

Struggled to finish. flat characters flat storyline flat reading it was hard to finish this book if I had been reading it I would have quit a lot sooner

One of the worst narrators

I listened to the first 3 of books hoping the narrator would get better but no such luck. Sadly, I will not be finishing this series. The story\plot line were fairly good but Kim McKeans stilted and stiff reading killed any enjoyment I could have had. I listen to a lot of books while I'm at work so light reads like this one work out well for me. However, this one does not. If they change the narrator from book 4 moving forward I might finish the series but I won't hold my breath.

Everyone else is saying the narrator ruined the book for them but that wasn't the case with me. I wanted to like this book so much, but I just couldn't understand WHY Chloe wouldn't say she only went on 1 date with the guy. WHATTTT ARE YOU DOING GIRL. I made it to chapter 8, based on the fact that she couldn't just speak up and say, "I DONT KNOW YOUR SON, I WAS NOT HIS FIANCE, WE WENT ON ONE DATE AND IT WAS A FREAKING BLIND DATE".....
