Read This At Least Twice (or More)

As a firearms instructor I remind my clients that their firearm is a FINAL line of defense - to be utilized only when observation and avoidance has failed, and they find themselves confronted with the threat of death of grievous bodily injury.

Situational awareness and the knowledge of how to utilize that awareness should be one’s first line of defense (whether one chooses to carry a weapon for self-defense or not.) And, like any perishable skill, it must be exercised regularly.

This book is a relatively short read, but chock full of essential information on everything from the criminal mindset to recommendations on how to improve one’s own situational awareness.

I HIGHLY recommend reading the book once just to find out just how much truly invaluable content the author has to offer. (The author’s user friendly reading style is an added plus.) Then re-read it carefully and incrementally as a training manual - stopping to practice each exercise until it becomes second nature.

the author takes it beyond situational awareness to the mindset of predators, with a focus on avoiding, escape and lastly confrontation.

Great info

Liked the info and the way the author laid it out in everyman terms and not Special Forces Operator terms. I would have liked to have had an accompanying pdf with some of the lists for future reference, but overall happy with the purchase. I may buy the physical book as well

I liked how much valuable information he gives in such a concise amount of time. He gives lots of intriguing and memorable examples that will help the lessons to stick in your mind.
