A real treat!

Really enjoyed this audiobook! The characters were likable, the story was interesting and fun (perfect Fall read!), and the narration was excellent. I’m super picky about narrators, but these two nailed it. The open-door spice level was just right - enough to add heat without overtaking the entire story. I especially loved that the usual experience dynamic (FMC typically having less “spice” experience) was flipped in this book. It brought such a refreshing twist I don’t often come across. All in all - totally worth a credit, absolutely recommend and look forward to more books from this series!

I greatly underestimated this read. The characters were forced to face their vulnerabilities and the narrators blew me away with their performances.

I looooove Lyla Sage books. Both narrators on this are fantastic. When Jason Clarke is on the book, I just know the MMC is going to be a grump.

Slowest Burn that is Worth It

It took 2.5 hours to get excited about this book - I had to stop listening twice out of fear that I wouldn't like it, but Lyla Sage delivered an absolute beauiful story with an unusual MMC. I would describe Brady as a beta personality and it took a little time to get used to, especially with the typical male alpha characters. Yet I found him endearing & enjoyed Collins character development throughout the book. I enjoyed the 🌶 scenes - i don't really understand the authors use of spitting in ones mouth 🫠 as we also saw that in the her other series but different strokes for different folks. Loved the story and the ending. Narrartors were absolutely fantastic as always!! Can't wait for the next book!!

I love this!

I’ve listened to all of Lyla sage and loved them to pieces! They were able to tie this into the rebel blue ranch series at the end there and it was so great! Her writing is great! The story was cute and not spooky at all, so if your hindered by the fantasy/haunted aspect- it’s nothing. Only happy ghost stuff. Highly recommend. Hope this story becomes a series.

Perfection

As always Lyla Sage writes perfection! I highly recommend this and everything she writes. The duel narration was 10/10!!!

Great story line

My friend has a book store in Austin, MN and this was the October pick for book club and I loveddddd it. It kept my attention and was very intimate. I loved how Jason and Samantha portrayed the roles as well. Great writing by Lyla !! Will look into other books by Lyla :)

One that will definitely be listened too many times!

Another hit from Lyla! I instantly feel in love with everything in this book! The characters are so believable and I love they struggle with what we all struggle with, well I don’t struggle with hearing and seeing ghosts but maybe some do! I can’t wait to see what else happens in this creepy, lovable town!

what a great book, the theme was unique and it was great to hear hints of Meadow Lark here and there, can't wait to see what comes next! Fabulous one

Slightly Spooky intrigue

loved the storyline of this, delving in the supernatural/ghosts, but not scary, just unique and intriguing. narration was perfect from both narrators as expected with these pros. loved the male hero character in this book, so sweet yet sexy. not and asshole, just a nice, supportive handsome guy.
