At times I was so frustrated with her that I wanted to give up and stop listening. Even though it wasn’t subject matter that I can particularly relate to, the story is a beautiful metaphor of how persevering and pushing through the hard times in life can lead to a deeper and delightful life.

I liked the view of difficult relationships from different angles, the emotions and real misunderstandings. I didn't like Martha, and I wish I knew what illness x was
