Very swoony, small-town, single-dad romance!

Single-Minded is book 4 in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series by Amy Knupp, and delivers a very swoony, small-town, single-dad romance that is the perfect escape. West and Presley are definitely opposites in almost every way, but this means they fit together like surprising puzzle pieces. His three girls are adorable and I really enjoyed his devotion to them. I really enjoyed the characters, the town, and this series!

Connor Crais and Stella Hunter are such fantastic performers you really can’t go wrong. In a sweet, engaging single-dad romance they sweep you up in the story and carry you away like the excellent artists they are. Excellent casting!

Keep the Single Dads coming!

This has been such a wonderful series full of delicious single daddies, and West Aldridge is another yummy addition to my single dad collection. He has three absolutely darling girls and finds himself in quite the pickle when he ends up doing a bunch of contract work for the home and business of the absolute whirlwind that is Presley.

No matter how hard they try, though, their attraction and connection is so powerful. West is trying to show Presley that she can enjoy life at a slower pace, while she’s trying to gain his trust and prove that he can trust his heart, and his daughters’, with her. It’s a wonderfully sweet story, and while West and Presley certainly light up the pages, I also enjoy all of the times we get to see them together with the girls. This series is such a comfort for me.

🎧: Connor Crais and Stella Hunter, of course, did a wonderful job in this dual narration. They’re some of my fave narrators, and their two voices work so well together. They brought the emotion and the banter and made this audio such a wonderful experience.

The narration by 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬 and 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 truly brought the characters to life, making this a great listen for fans of small town single dad romances.

Amy Knupp - a must-listen series!

I’m so glad Amy Knupp has given us this amazing single dads series - I love the small town of Dragonfly Lake, all of these guys, the Henry Brothers - everything about it! My favourite part will of course always be the escape llamas who have their couple of mentions in here (including an excellent piece of art), but Presley and West are such a perfect fit and they just make this one fantastic.

It’s the single dad with a bad relationship track record, and the too busy for relationships former workaholic who quit and moved to a small town - they’re a great match when he starts doing the contracting work on her new house, as well as a side job on the coffee shop she decides on a whim will be the perfect new career. Spending all that time in close proximity when he knows he has to keep his hands to himself is a tough job… until his kids fall for her and he can’t help but give into the “one time to get it out of our systems” ploy - doesn’t everyone know that never works?

This is an absolutely fantastic read (even better because I’ve been in a huge slump and an Amy Knupp book was exactly what I needed), with the perfect blend of those tropes, the perfect amount of spice, and the cutest darn kids around (and llamas). I highly recommend not just this book, which I adored, but the whole Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, because they’re all excellent!

The audiobook is narrated by two of the very best in the industry, who were so perfectly cast in the roles of Presley and West! - Stella Hunter and Connor Crais. They are two voices I always can count on for brilliant performances. Bravo, to both! Loved listening to this book even more because it was Stella and Connor!

I'm in LOVE with this Sweet Single Dad Series!!

I'm in LOVE with this series! Amy Knupp has stolen my heart with these amazing single dad's. I devoured this audiobook just like I did the other 3 in this series. You can't help but fall in love with these characters and this town!

The narrators Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were chef's kiss!! They held my attention and kept me entertained the entire time I was listening to this book.

West is a single dad of three little girls and is just trying to give them the best life he can by working hard to get a promotion. His next project is working on a house for a woman that just moved into town. Presley quit her job as an investment baker because if she didn't the job was going to kill her. So she decided to buy a house in a small town where she could live a less stressful life. While her house is being worked on she figures out what she wants to do next. She wants to open a coffee shop because there isn't one in this town so no one has a place to go for a good cup of coffee. Now she needs someone to repair the building she's leasing.

West takes time from his girls to help her with the remodel on the coffee shop since this is extra money he could use to take the girls on a vacation. The more time he spends with Presley the more he falls for her. These two were absolutely amazing! I loved how they fell for each other and the love she had toward his girls.

West will have you swooning through out this book. You will laugh, swoon, smile, your heart will melt and you will be left with a wonderful ending! I can't wait for the next book! I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook and this series!

Hot Hot Hot

Singled Minded is a sweet romance. I really like this book. West and Presley are worth rooting for. The construction guy and the new girl in town making for a sizzling couple, they are hot hot hot. This book is an easy listen and fun too. I like that Presley treating the girls as her own. Stella Hunter and Connor Crais did a wonderful job bringing this whole world together and voicing everyone. I loved listening to these two together and hope to hear them again soon.

Single-Minded has everything I love in an audiobook! A protective, loyal single dad who’d slay dragons for his daughters but melts for the one woman who steals his heart. I went in blind (saw Connor Crais, instantly hit request) and he delivered perfection as Carter. He was protective, swoony and brought the heat. Stella Hunter was sweet wonderful as well, balancing confidence with vulnerability. Together, they made this romance come to life and I adored it. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series. Thank you to Amy Knupp and home cooked books for the ALC.

Great story! Great continuation of series

West and Presley are another fantastic couple in the continuation of the dragonfly Lake series. I have absolutely enjoyed every second of this small town and all the many romances and couples that we still get to revisit. Every book is almost like coming home. Both narrators did so well on this audiobook and make you fall in love with all the characters!

Single Dad Romance Done Right

West and Presley couldn’t be more different—she’s a former city girl who ditched her soul-sucking career for a tranquil life by the water, with her investments giving her the freedom to renovate her dream home. He’s a single dad to three daughters, pouring his heart into raising them while working hard as a contractor and aiming for a promotion to make life a little easier. When West takes on Presley’s renovation, he expects a demanding client, not a vibrant, dream-chasing woman who sees life differently. Their worlds collide in sparks and stolen glances, and despite West’s determination to always put his girls first, one night changes everything.

Presley made sure West’s girls were always welcome in her home and life, never treating them as an afterthought. Her genuine kindness and openness made it easy to root for her from the start. She wasn’t afraid to show love and be vulnerable, so they balanced each other well, even if it took West a while to fully embrace it, especially with his fear of hurting his daughters holding him back.

This is the fourth book in the series, but my first, and while I’m sure I would have appreciated the existing friendships and community ties more had I read the earlier books, it was still easy to follow since the focus stayed mostly on West and Presley’s journey.

I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais, and they were fantastic as always. They’re not new-to-me narrators, and I always enjoy listening to them. Stella just is Presley. Her voice fit the character’s energy and drive so well. And Connor as West? Totally nailed that steady, protective vibe while still making the softer moments land.
