Great story

It was interesting to learn about Gil's background, but I'm definitely also keying into the fact that he's pretty violent, even with his faith restored. I like the excitement and thrill and the dogs, but I find the violence intense, even painful to hear. It doesn't mean I'll stop reading the series, just something to keep in mind...

This read was suspenseful and moved at just the right speed. I like the character’s development. I love the interaction with Pilgrim. I wish the rest of the series was on audible.

It was a very thrilling book, It was good to meet his family and know what happened and to see how he was renewed with his love for God.

knowing how it all started

pretty incredible and sad at the same time. we meet the wife and child. we see pilgrim in action, and we meet the murderer of mason's family. very impressive.

I enjoyed this story. It was well written and well performed by the narrator. Until, that is, the last few chapters when all the religious/christian claptrap started spewing. That pretty much ruined the whole thing for me.
