Hysterical

Pretty sure it would be quite an experience to be in this author's imagination for a while. What she puts into her books is pure romantic comedy goodness and over-the-top hysterical. The opening sequence of this book (and the first book of the series for that matter) had me cackling out loud... literally. I mean, what on Earth did I listen to, but please give me more. How the narrators were able to bring this story to life without breaking character is impressive. This was a true enemies-to-lovers romance, not one of those secret deep down I always loved you romances. The animosity was there, which made the slow burn extra delicious. As the backstory was revealed and the feelings began to simmer, it made the payoff all the more satisfying.

Such a Fun Story

Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws was an enjoyable story. The narration was amazing as always bringing this story to new levels of hilarious LOL moments.

Caulder “CatDaddy” Fletcher is a ladies man. He’s not serious about relationships and is just looking for a good hookup.

Dakota is moving on from
Divorce. She’s bitter but passionate which makes her come off as a “total Karen”.

These two have bad history after a home improvement job seven years previously went wrong and Caulder destroyed Dakota’s wedding dress.

When these two are forced together during a Fletcher family wedding, the banter flies and the chemistry sizzles. Soon Caulder and Dakota find themselves in an agreement of sorts… help Dakota get her confidence back after divorce.

We all know what happens when agreements are made… they eventually get broken.

A fun and exciting listen from Amy Daws that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear.

Obsessed

So cute! I love the character growth and the exploration of sexuality without shame! This will be one i come back to again and again.

Enjoyed the story line alot, the make narrator has a very attractive voice making it easy to get into this story

Loved the book. The story was good and relatable and fun to enjoy. I love the level of spiciness and love that was intertwined in this one.
