Awesome

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish this book was a movie or TV series. Tis awesome is so great with story telling. You can see the book come alive in your mind and see characters as described. The narrators were good. This couple was as crazy and good together as her parents. Real life situations and I can't wait for the other family members stories!

the best books of the year?

I loved everything about this book. It was so sweet and I love that it gets to see an interracial relationship and it’s not just between BWWM I don’t know if I’ll read the entire series but I do love this book. It was so good it’s so fun so sweet. I loved the main character Dae and Kennedy was such a sweet woman I would love to see more books like this, especially from this author I love this book. I’m so glad I found it.

Only thing missing is a strong woman narrator 🤦🏽‍♀️

I absolutely loved the story, and Dae was delicious. The only off putting thing is the woman who narrated Kennedy. Her voice was not only annoying it did not fit the character at all so it was difficult to invest in this character. If I just read this book I would have given it 5 stars across the board, but since the woman narrated a good bit of the book I felt like I had to suffer through just to get through the story. But the story was fantastic!!!

Lack luster and excitement

I had difficulties committing to this series third installment due to the female narrator. Sometimes it felt like she was reading from the book. It did improve towards the end.

Kennedy meets meets her match with Dae

This is a slow burn romance in the Townsend legacy series. A chance meeting at a crucial time, changes the direction of Dae’s life. 10 years ago, Dae has given up and is being beaten in an alley, he comes face to face with Kennedy who’s determination to save him even at a young age leaves an impression. In present day, when Dae has made himself into a person he thinks is deserving of Kennedy, their paths cross in an unlikely way and Dae decides now is the time to claim is girl.

This was a fantastic listen. If you are fan of Tiffany Patterson, it has elements of what makes her story telling great. Couple that will some fantastic narration that really brings these characters to life. If you read the book previously, you will be happy to know that the audio enhances the story. I loved the story, the narration is great and Kennedy and Dae are couples goals.
