Great second chance romance, Definitely recommend. I loved the family interaction in this story. This was my first time with this author and I am excited about other books.

Love the story and narration….

What I don’t like is this is a good author that has good narrators but the audio has multiple hiccups duplicates whatever one wants to call it.

Podium Audio needs to have a check system so this does not happen. This is the second book from this author and this audio company and it too has issues. A simple playback or check would have found this problem.

Almost Paradise - Paradise was a lot of hard work
Drake Paradise has gotten the biggest surprise of his life and a very big disappointment. It has been four years since he has seen the one woman that had captured his heart. She just up and left his life. She took something that was very valuable to him when she left. He had no idea until the day he went to a birthday party at the last place he wanted to be. This one event changes his life.

Nia was moving in with her life. She had the love of her family. She had a job she loved. And her greatest love was that with her son Carter. No matter that her biggest heartbreak came from his father. She would never regret the relationship she had with him.

Just when Nia was moving forward with her life. Her past comes back and demands a very large chunk of her current life.

I love watching how all things began to unfold for Drake, Nia, and Carter. I loved the instant love Drake had for his son. I loved the interactions between Audre and Wyatt. What I did not like there were no answers to what was the excuse Mr Paradise had for the wrongs he committed to his own son.

I got the mini read on the couple and found it to be a good complement but still no insight to the questions we were left with at the end of the original story. I do look forward to any more news on the Paradise family.

I love getting new stories from Evelyn Sola. She keeps it real and entertaining.

Not sure at first but ended well

The beginning was quite annoying with the constant miscommunication and arguments but finally they got it together and the rest of the story was strong with the usual Evelyn greatness.

Enjoyed this book so much!

I loved how Drake fought for his family and the power moves he made to get what he wanted. Loved how he instantly loved his son!

Emotional Rollercoaster of a Ride

Drake Paradise couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her standing across the room. It seems like she reappeared the same way she suddenly disappeared from his life years ago. Now he wants answers and what Drake wants, Drake gets at least until he met her.
Nia Nash knew one day that she would see him again, she just didn't know that today would be that day. She knew that when they day came things would be different and she would be ready but neither Nia nor Drake could have could have prepared themselves for the secrets that are about to be revealed or how their lives will irrevocably change.
After years of not seeing each other Nia and Drake are explosive when they find themselves together again, and most of the time not in a good way. I have to admit, it took me a little while to warm up to either one of them with the constant bickering. After getting to know them I began to understand all of the hostility and became a fan of this couple. Mrs Sola definitely knows how to wrap you up in the lives of her characters and Nia and Drake along with their family drama reels you in so hold on for back and forth ride. The narrators did a wonderful of expressing the characters feelings which added made the story more engaging. Almost Paradise is a journey of betrayal and forgiveness that leads to a everlasting love which will keep you invested to the very end. The narrators did a wonderful

I stayed ho,e from work to finish this book! It was so good!

Opal Black and Oliver Clarke did an excellent job of narration!

I always love the nicknames and idiosyncrasies of each character that add that personal touch. This story was so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I feel the chemistry building with Wyatt and Audrey! Please hurry and write another book with them as the main characters! 💕❤️💕

Loved the characters and story

Romance has the same tropes; secret baby, second chance, lovers to enemies to lovers. But I fell in love with Drake and Nia and wanted to see their love story thru. When they were enemies, I was fully invested in seeing how they came back to love. I loved this story. My only criticism is the audio version and Nia’s voice actor. I legit sounded like she was reading and not acting. She’s good; I can tell. But just a little bit more effort in making it sound like an audio book vs someone reading an essay.

Great story!

This story was so good. The only thing missing was the listening of the tape; really wanted to her what the mister had to say. Narrators were excellent and brought out the breadth and depth of characters. Interactions with the children were adorable.
