Savage Liar is the second book in the Sinfully Savage Mafia series. This is an enemies-to-lovers mafia romance. This book could be read as a standalone as I haven't read the first book yet.

This book is about Sergio and Jaelyn and is told from both of their points of view. Jaelyn wants revenge for the murder of her parents. However, Sergio gets his sights on her and wants her.

There is so much that happens in this book. Twists and turns, secrets and lies, steamy relationships, and a lot more.

The narrators did a good job telling the story and giving the characters a voice.
Jaelyn and her brother are in Las Vegas after they sought revenge for their parents murder. For two people who are suppose to be hiding from the cartel owning a couple of successful gentlemen clubs isn't the way to do it. Sergio is an assassin but is trying to prove to his family he can help other ways make money for the family and tries to buy the strip club but gets rejected which then leads him to kidnapping Jaelyn. Love Jaelyn she is one feisty character. Not only do you get Sergio and Jaelyn's relationships development, someone is out to take Sergio and their are people out there looking for Jaelyn and her brother. I enjoyed listening to this.

New Meaning to Eye for an Eye

Jaelyn "Jae" Ramirez Torres and Sergio Villani are undeniably entertaining! 🤣🧨🎆🎉 Bullets, heels, handcuffs, headaches and all!

Sergio is a bit of an act first, think last kind of guy when things don't go his way. I'm not quite sure how he manages to get out of half the crap he digs himself into, truly. The fact that Jae gives into her baser needs after some of the stuff he pulls is astounding.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Tor Thom and Sarah Puckett. Both are really good choices for these characters.

Fast burn

This was a fast burn mafia romance that was pretty fast paced as well. I think the narrators did a pretty good job giving voice to the story. I would definitely be listening to the next story in line

No room for Assumptions

Jaelyn and Sergio both make assumptions about each other that are wrong. Neither can deny the attraction between each other even when they don't think they should like each other. Morally gray characters but so very intriguing. I can say when I see Kristen Luciani that I stop and read the blurb for sure because I've been so drawn in by her books. I love that once Jaelyn and Sergio get who they are sorted that they both are willing to fight for each other to the death. This was a quick listen with Sarah Puckkett and Thor Tom as narrators.

Jaelyn is strong , and can hold her own in a fight.
3 years later- they own very successful clubs in Las Vegas.
Sergio is the younger brother of Mateo. He always tries to prove himself he is worthy to have a higher position in the organization.
Mateo always puts down his ideas.
Jae and Sergio connection is hot, steamy.
The twists, turns, distrust, suspenseful story is an enjoyable.
Sarah Puckett and Tor Thom narration is very good.

what the heck that ending was crazy. for a minute there I did think they were dead. but I have to say Sergio is one bad boy in deed and J is one lucky woman. this book was really good. not much smut in it but I did love the story.. sometimes a book don't need that much smut. but this book was well-written enjoyed every bit of it.

Both character came out strong Jaelyn parent were mûrõer and had to leave with her brother Nate. i felt her character was everywhere first she mourned her parent passing but then it seem like her parents were stuck up and look down on the poor. she meets Sergio and her character becomes reckless.
Sergio is trying to proof to himself and his brother he can be more that they believe. So when he try to buy strip club and then the offer is taken away he is mad. when someone try to kill him he suspect is Nate so he kidnapped Jay. And ofcourse there is a twist and secrets and lies to their story.
Sarah Puckett and Tor Thom did a good job portraying these characters. Loving their voice.

Sergio & Jaelyn

This is Sergio and Jaelyn's story and the second book in the Sinfully Savage Mafia series. Sergio wants to prove himself and Jaelyn is out for revenge. Sergio and Jaelyn start out as enemies but when she is forced to spend time with him, the attraction only grows. Now they must join forces as a war with the cartel is brewing. Will they live long enough to get their HEA.

Great narration.

Book 2 - Sinfully Savage Mafia

This is book 2 in Luciani's Sinfully Savage Mafia series and can be read as a standalone but oh - I am in love with this series. Our dual narrators Puckett and Thom delight the ears as they bring our main characters Sergio and Jaelyn to life. Smooth vocals and wonderful emotions brought out in the narration of these characters - just perfection! Sergio is a great character in that he's trying to be seen as someone of worth in his family and does not always make the most planned out, wisest of choices. Jaelyn too gets caught up in the chemistry that is clearly there from the beginning with Sergio but her shell of badassary is tough to crack. I loved the chemistry and the drama that plays out. A great mafia read with all the danger, twists and steamy chemistry you could want. I thought that the back story was a little long with Jaelyn but I think maybe necessary to determine the depth and important that background was to her and her brother in making them the people they grew to be. Overall, a well written / narrated mafia romance that is sure to captivate and have you eager for more!
