Story is ok but the narrator 👎

This narrator is boring and dull. I like the Oregon series but this book was ruined.

Big Fan

I am a big fan of Clive Cussler. Excellent book. I am working my way through all of the Oregon Files.

Not the same Oregon Files we've grown to love

First off, my most glaring complaint has to do with the narrator. To say it was awful would be a complement. His attempt at differentiating characters came off more like everyone was drunk. It's a pretty good storyline, but there are some weird consistencies based on prior novels. For instance they keep referring to him as Mr. Cabrillo not the Chairman or Juan. I think the authors just found this one in.

Worst Narration Ever!

Great story overall, but I nearly stopped listening each time the narrator attempted to give inappropriate dialect to the minority characters! Simply the worst narration of my considerable audible listening career!

too much silly dialog. his other works are much more captivating. I do enjoy most of his books

As good as I remember

I used to listen to these books when I was a kid riding around with my dad. Now I’m listening to them for the nostalgia, as well as the excitement.

Great book

As always, this book kept my attention from the beginning to end. I listen to it on audio.

Sacred Stone

Love Clive Cussler and just starting this series. Loved the Scooby-Doo reference in this story. Who would have known Cussler was a Scooby-Doo fan !! Extra points for Clive !

I have read and listened to most of Cussler's books. The narrator ruins this book! What happened to Scott Brick?

What didn’t you like about J. Charles’s performance?

The voices he gave to the different characters did not fit them. I've read all the Oregon Files books, and felt it detracted from the characters.
