Entertaining
This was a story that I enjoyed from beginning to end, it had great characters and story line, This is the second story in the Gumbo Files series. The narration by Scott Kerr was good... I would recommend this to others

A well-written short read from a good author
Ribald - a cozy mystery adventure: The Gumbo Files, my first highly enjoyable read from author Curtis Long. Well-written & enjoyable cozy mystery. I look forward to reading more from this author. Scott Kerr's narration made a good read even more enjoyable. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Short Cozy Mystery
Curtis Long has written a mystery with interesting characters. The protagonist, Danny Gumbo, was framed for a crime that he did not commit, and he was incarcerated for four years. While in jail, Danny's thoughts centered on how he would make the people behind his incarceration pay. Once Danny was released from jail, he started to put his plans into action. I found this novella entertaining. Scott Kerr's narration was fine, and his style was similar to a news reporter delivering the news. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.
