Engaging and tying it all together in a way that is memorable and meaningful.

The whole story of the revolution in one book! I liked how the author introduced the characters, sometimes pointing forward to their future accomplishments. It helped me understand the bigger picture and made it easier to follow along and remember.
I really appreciated the explanation of the motivation of the Americans to become independent and it made me proud to be an (naturalized) American! We must preserve this country!

Eric’s details of the many battles was not just interesting but kept me listening!!

I wondered how an audio book with over 20 hours of volume about history of the U S could keep me listening. Eric brought out so many facts of the 18th century besides the multiple battles our founders went through along with the atrocities of the British military; I finished listening almost without pausing.

An inspiring history of the American Revolution.

This is a truly great and inspiring history of the American Revolution; and, how timely it is. Not only are the stories of our countries founders essential to the understanding of how our country came to be but how grounded in ideas and principles of the Judeo-Christian religion were to the righteousness and justification of that cause. The founders also stressed how essential a moral and just society were to the preservation of that government so created. This is not a fire and brimstone lecture on religion, but in enlightening and captivating account of what has made us who we are: “ a republic, if you can keep it “. A must read.

I never tire of reading about our founding. We truly are uniquely blessed with one of the most amazing generations in human history. The moral foundation necessary to fortify that many people for the sacrifices necessary to establish this nation so that you and I could sit here today with the rich blessings freedom and liberty produce, awe’s me. But it is never one generation away from ceasing to exist. It is our responsibility to pass this inheritance on the next generation inviolate.
