Amazing book on the defenders of Christianity against the brutality of Muslim invasion. Much of this history is lost in modern schooling and needs to be taught and appreciated by youth today.

Raw & Moving

As a mom of a toddler I found this book to be so profoundly moving because of the valor these men had in their diehard actions to protect their faith and way of life. Granted, I had to wear headphones so my little gal wouldn’t pick up on the violence but one day she will read this book & appreciate how strong, Christian men have all they had in obedience to their faith. This book should be mandatory reading for highschool kids because what they are being told about the crusades is alarmingly false. Christ is king.

Essential reading for anyone who cares about Christianity or the West.

This book provided a lot of important historical context for the crusades that is sorely lacking. If you wish to understand more about the crusades and why they happened this a great book. If you also care about the current issues facing Christianity and Western civilization this will definitely resonate with you.

Brilliant and revealing

No Hollywood superhero could hold a candle to these REAL heroic men. This is a must read for anyone tired of modern revisionist history that attempts to downplay the great men of Europe. The impact of these men and their incredible bravery cannot be overrated- and never forgotten. Outstanding book.

This book, like its predecessor "Sword and Simitar" ought to be taught in schools. A truly remarkable recollection of real life heroes.
