An account from Washington’s life that continues to show God’s overwhelming providence in his and the other Founders lives.

Annoying sound effects

It just distracted from an otherwise wonderful story. It made it hard to hear the test. It did not add to the experience. I don’t mean to be negative about the product, but I wasn’t listening for the show... that should, at most been background. It was not. The story was epic. Thank you for that.

Great short story, never heard much about the French and Indian war in school and definitely didn’t hear about the incredible account of Washingtons providential shield. Will probably relisten again one day!

Excellent!!

The historical account and telling of these events is a testimony to the ever enduring struggle of man with God and of God's ability to keep a righteous man in the face of the folly of men and of evil.
At times there were skips or static interference in the playing of the story. If this is from Audibe or the original recording, I dont know, but I will find out. I'm buying this recording, it was such a powerful story.
Parents should review this first. There are graphic accounts of war that may be too disturbing for children.

Amazing story and very entertaining

Amazing story and read in a very entertaining way with much audio fanfare. We are indeed blessed that our founding father was protected in his early exploits, for had he fallen our struggle for independence would have taken a much different path.
