Emotionally devastating, yet so appealing!

The pain I felt from the betrayal was staggering from the sheer emotion of it all! Milena’s writing grabs me at my core. The audio narration by Abby Craden was so beautiful as she breathed life into the joys and sorrows. I very highly recommend any book Milena writes. There is no other author like her. She has a unique way of capturing the essence of the human spirit!

Milena McKay and Abby Craden - brilliant yet again!

Wonderful story set in the 1980s world of ballet, primarily Paris. The two main characters. ballerinas Katarina and Juliette are swoon worthy as they dance on their gut wrenching path to love, heartbreak and to love again. Highly recommend!

They've done it again!

When ever Milena and Abby collaborate together, you know it will be a wonderful experience. I've listened to all Milena's books and I'm never disappointed. And I can never say enough about how well Abby brings the characters to life. She is simply the best. I highly recommend this very emotional story. It's so worth the credit.

A Rare Beauty

Milena McKay has a unique way with words, which is brilliant and refreshing. Her literary novels have scenes that encourage heavy breathing; this one took my breath away throughout. The angst, drama, and chemistry between the characters were perfectly woven together making it impossible for me to stop listening to. The moment I finished Reverence, I hurried to place it on my Re-Listen list. There are a handful of sapphic authors Independent and traditional, who I also place on my 'Buy Everything they Write' list. Melina is at the top of this list. As a lesbian, I'm extremely grateful we have such an incredible literary talent representing our community. If it has not been said before, I want to thank you, Milena. Thank you. Great story

Story is compelling, the characters are well developed and no one reads better then Abby,

A very smooth read

Abby Craden did a wonderful reading of this intense Cold War experience. I'm old enough to remember those days and enjoyed how well Ms McKay captured the angst that was so prevalent in some people and completely lacking in others. And so many secrets.

I really enjoyed the writing. It was a pleasure to read the well plotted and thoroughly described scenes. Very satisfying.

The book that held me captive.

The entire package the story, the credible characters, the emotive language that was so beautifully woven to create a memorable, enjoyable experience. Abby is a gifted narrator and she puts incredible skills to bring the story to life.

It’s complicated is an understatement.

Prepare to have your heart destroyed. My heart almost didn’t make it to the end. The level of therapy I need after this is insane.

Heartbreaking and Refreashing

They did it again. McKay and Craden as we all know are a match made in heaven. The world building, the history, the character arces. Light and playful while deep and real. Absolutely adored this one and can't wait for more!

She’s done it again! I don’t know how she manages it, but every time, I fall in love with each and every character she creates. This book, in particular, draws you into the captivating world of the beautiful ballerinas, and it’s impossible to put down.
