Painful yet beautiful

I thought this book did a beautiful job show two different women battling their own traumas but wanting to overcome them both individually and also for the other person.
I would give it a 3.5/5 on the spice level. There are several sex scenes, most of them are a decent length and descriptive.

solid story and great narration

the story was pretty good and the spice was good too. Lori and Quinn are some of the best narrators of sapphic audio books!

Tearjerker

This is not a light listen. It is a heavy listen. Both MCs have suffered trauma and have PTSD from it. Healing touch therapy turns into a physical relationship to in love. I did not feel that the transition I to a physical relationship was realistic. Mile high club for the first time. No way too many germs in there for the MC to be ok with that in my opinion. I’m going to be honest and I skipped a bunch of chapters at the end and just listened to the epilogue.

10s across the board!

This was an emotional, honest, trauma filled, real life, tuff tackling, lovely and stressful storyline. The back and fourth of the MCs was such an excellent emotional roller-coaster with a touch of sister childhood trauma. This was an amazing story. I felt all the feels and every touch through the voices telling the story and I loved that two of my favorite narrators were phenomenal on this listen. I'm definitely adding this to my favs and I will re-listen.

So much trust and healing!

This is such a beautiful, emotional and tender story of two women, Athena a lawyer, and Monti a former therapist, healing from severe traumas that happened two decades before they ever met. The writing was so poignant and authentic, while the narration by Quinn Riley and Lori Prince added such depth of feeling to this very human experience. Brava!
