it was good once got going

slow start but got good once in the story. would listen to next one. took me a minute to to figure everything & everyone out.

Not Bad

This cult series is messed up! I have no words for the things the leader does. He's disgusting. Anyway, it's well written and book 2 is definitely better than the 1st book. Cult books usury aren't my thing but this series is worth the read/listen. The narrator does a great job

Even better than the first!

I can't believe the second book was even better than the first! This series is so original and well thought out and the characters so well thought out! Spice was NICE in this one - definitely 4/5 on the spice scale and it didn't suffer losing any plot at all. Bravo!! Starting book 3 IMMEDIATELY!

OK this book is amazing! I need the third book to come out on audio immediately! What a cliffhanger!!!!!!

A good book, well written but disturbing as well

I liked the book but hated it too. I had the same response to the characters--they were likable but due to being raised and manipulated by a sadistic cult leader, their means of coping were very disturbing. It's an intriguing story, but I can't honestly say that I enjoyed it. It made me very uncomfortable.

Hooked

Okay i need book three like now. 😂 I’m so glad I only have a few weeks before the ebook is released. Because this series has me hooked. It’s like a true crime documentary in a dark romance. The cult manipulation from the leader is insane, but I truly can’t get enough of this story.

it's late but I have to start the last now I can't wait. I'm very surprised with with how good these books are

Not an Original Story

This is not original. Ms. Lawson you know where you got this story from. I get it. It was a really interesting story when it was sprawled across the headlines, but honestly it you’re going to just retell a story that has already been written, you should put that in the description of the book. No disrespect, but this story is unoriginal.
