It’s official. Fortune Redding is out of the CIA and a newly minted resident of Sinful, Louisiana. She never expected her homecoming to be all apple pie and hugs, but a murder wasn’t on her list of things to deal with before she’d even gotten her name stenciled on her mailbox.

I was really hoping that the Miss Fortune series wouldn’t change a lot after Fortune retired from the CIA & thankfully it hasn’t. Looks like I’m going to be enjoying Ms. DeLeon’s humor & intrigue with Fortune & crew for @ least a while longer. LOVE IT, LOVE IT & keep it coming!!!

A “reel” good listen!

I love this series but the narrator will mix up the name of the character she is supposed to be portraying from time to time. She will either say the wrong na name or use the wrong voice which can be annoying & confusing.

This book was thoroughly enjoyable from intrigue, suspense to quirky characters. Audio was extremely well done. The only thing I didn't care for was continual "he said," "she said" dialogue tags. Accents were distinct and perfect for the characters and the done so it was easy to listen to. I hated to step away from the computer.
