Really entertaining.

You know it’s a really good book when you start yelling at it. There was a good bit of that. You know the kind, “come on. That’s the bad guy”kind of thing. Also, there is an interesting potential love interest I am hoping pans out. As for the Graphic Audio. It made the book that much better. I purchased this for a long drive and I absolutely appreciated it.

Good book

several times it sounds underwater, otherwards great book. Narrators do a great job. Can't wait to listen to the next.

Larkspur’s life has been one struggle after another. A father, the king, who is disappointed in her. His wife who despises her. A mother and brother who died when she was young. And she can barely do any magic considering her parentage. Now she has supposedly tried to kill the Queen. Her punishment is to become an Ender, the protectors of the family, well she will become an Ender if she can survive the training.

Larkspur is in for one epic ride and there is so much more going on beyond what anyone could have imagined.

I loved the graphic audiobook version. The story completely came to life as I listened to it and all the narrators did a spectacular job.

amazing performance

I love this, I found this after the rylee Adamson series and they are both great I could even listen again lol

Interesting world

I enjoyed the story, though there were a few weak character moments i.e. the king’s explanation of his absence in Lark’s life & repeated affairs. Made him look less regal & more like a jerk. Lark’s a great character & I like the fact there wasn’t a cheesy romance aspect. It was more about her finding herself vs finding a lover.

Such a cool story. I like the character buildup, and the actors are great!! Can’t wait to hear what adventures Shannon Mayer takes us on

Very “G” Rated

I was waiting consistently on some type of action or event that would make me want to be more involved in the story and could not find it. I overall would have passed on this story. Lessons learn I guess!

Waste of vocal talent

A children’s story with adult content, but not graphic. The production decisions are directed at children. The author should have decided if she wanted a children’s book or YA…not a simplistic storyline produced for children that referenced sex. I’d recommend for tweens who already know sex exists, but haven’t developed any critical thinking skills.

Avoid if you hate the stupid chipmunk giggle sound effect…as it’s how every character laughs. Really terrible sound choices.

Boring

Just boring. That’s all I have to say. Didn’t really like the narration too much either.

Boring.

The main narrators voice completely lacks emotion or dramatics. The story itself is ok but sometimes doesn't make any sense and feels like it jumps around a bit. There was no love story, and nothing that kept me wanting more.
