Daddy Theo for the win!

Out of the whole series (well granted not knowing how Beau’s story is going to turn out), Theo and Winter is my absolute favorite!

Not any amount of sharp jaw and chiseled abs can beat a man who tells his baby mama to go rest while he takes care of the baby and worships her changing body like it’s the only thing he thinks about.

Also, can I have Joe Arden whisper in my ears please?!? Even Savannah’s male voice gives me goosebumps.

Theo and Winter!

I absolutely loved every single thing about this book!

Going into Reckless, I was not a Winter fan, but now I find myself loving her so much that she has gotten the top spot for me out of all Elsie's FMC's.

From the jump in this book, we see an entirely different Winter than we have seen before. We see someone who is broken and who uses what she has known her whole life as a defense mechanism. But now she is changing and she wants to right the wrongs in her life. Starting with her sister Summer.

We know that this book is an accidental pregnancy book, but let me tell you, as I am well aware this is one of the most hated tropes (for me included), but Elsie Silver does this beautifully (and I don't want to say how, but just trust me, that this is not a normal accidental pregnancy book).

And let's talk about Daddy Theo. From the moment he finds out about Winter's pregnancy, he is ALL IN. And it was absolutely beautiful to see him being there for Winter and the baby immediately. He doesn't let anything deter him from what he wants and I just loved that about this book.

Definitely purchasing a physical copy of this book for my shelf!

Obsessed!!! That’s it, that’s the review. But seriously Theo and Winter’s story was even better than I imagined, her salty ways couldn’t keep his damn intoxicating charm away for long. What started out as a one night stand to let loose and forget turned into a surprise baby, turned single mom, turned hot as hell banter filled, he falls first romance. The secret baby portion of the romance was done just right and I didn’t begrudge either of them for how it went down. ⁣

And let me tell you, Theo and Winter had banter for daysssss and man did I love it! She gave him so much sass that had me laughing out loud but Theo would not be deterred in his pursuit, especially once he met their happy little accident. The way made her her feel beautiful, even though her body had changed after having adorable little Vivi had me melting. That man knew how to worship a woman and make her feel like the queen she deserved to be. If you are looking for a book with plenty of swoon, spice (because Theo DELIVERS in that department over and over) and laughs, look no further than Reckless!⁣

Joe and Savannah were PERFECT for this audio!! Could not have been cast any better, if you need a pick me up and a laugh, these two will have you smiling and swooning while listening.

Elsie is the Queen

I thought nothing could top my obsession with Heartless, but I was wrong. Reckless is perfection. Theo and Winter are perfection. He saw the true Winter underneath her hard shell. I’m speechless.

Winter is almost free of her toxic marriage. So when she bumps into the playboy bull rider Theo Silva, she doesn't anticipate how one night can change everything for her. She also doesn't anticipate just how determined Theo is when he wants something, and that something is her.

Theo and Winter together was so sweet. Winter's entire life she's had to fight for herself, but with Theo, he has been Team Winter since day 1. This man was so obsessed with her and I LOVED to see it. This was definitely a he falls first trope and he really did fight for her. I also really loved to see the relationship between Summer and Winter building. There's a point in time where we weren't really sure where they would end up but watching their sisterly bond form was so sweet.

When I saw Savannah Peachwood and Joe Arden were teaming up as Winter and Theo I was jumping for joy. Savannah Peachwood is one of my top favorite female narrators and Joe is one of my top male narrators. Not only was the actual book amazing, but Savannah and Joe truly brought the story to life. Highly recommend this audiobook!

Hot Bull rider romance!

Elsie Silver writes THE hottest heroes ever!! Theo Silva is my new favorite hero from the Chestnut Springs Series. The attraction between these two characters is unmatched. Winter definitely puts up this tough girl exterior but inside she is a very sensitive person, and Theo really sees that in her. This is a secret baby romance. I have never really read it before, but I loved this book. Theo is such a swoony dad, I loved how he really took on the role, no questions asked. And he is so protective over Winter and his daughter. Ugh, I love all of the sweet, tender moments in this book. I also loved how determined Theo was to not let Winter push him away. There was so much character growth for both of them, which I loved to see. This also has a heavy family aspect and we got to see all of the characters from the past books. Reckless is definitely a new favorite of this series and I can't wait to read more from Elsie Silver!!

Theo is 😍

This book was one I have look forward to for months. Sometimes I’m not a fan of the “waiting.” Well maybe all the time. But gosh. I wanted Winter to have her redemption. I wanted her to have a relationship with her sister most of all.

This book gives you so many feels. Some I was ready for and some I wasn’t. I savored this audio. I listened to it over the course of 5 days. I wanted to make sure I caught it all. And it was worth every single waiting moment. And every single emotion. Thank you Elsie for this.

So sweet, so spicy. This story Made me laugh, cry, and 🥵. The characters are so relatable and Elsie gives such a great depth to her characters and their emotions.
