I’m not a pregnancy trope person. It grosses me out half the time, but Elsie Silver? She’s made me rethink that because she wrote one of the best pregnancy trope books I’ve ever read/listened to. I loved Winter, she reminded me a bit of myself with her prickly attitude and Theo? God bless cowboys because they know how to treat a woman right lol

Do yourself a favor and get this one on audio!!!!

A PHENOMENAL storyline combined with a narration that is absolute FIRE!!

Words cannot express how much I LOVED everything about this book!!! Theo & Winter stole the show and became my number one couple in this series and I swore no one would top Cade & Willa in Heartless! This book just combined so many tropes perfectly and turned them into a literal masterpiece! It includes one night stand, reverse grumpy/sunshine, he falls first, secret baby, single mom, and we can’t forget a faithful companion…Peter the dog! Even if you don’t like some of these tropes, this is one of those books you have to give a try and just read it! Elsie has such a way with words that will make you fall so hard for this book! From the addicting banter to the palpable chemistry and amazing characterization, I cannot recommend it enough!!

THAT AUDIO! Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood could not have been picked better for Theo & Winter!! They took these two characters and completely encapsulated their personalities! It took an already incredible story and just made it even more freaking amazing! The tone of Savannah’s voice just fit Winter’s character perfectly and had me feeling all the emotions for Winter during the story! Also, her male voice is one of my favorites! Joe Arden. Whew! I LOVED him as Theo! His cocky yet swoony tone captured everything that was Theo! And HOLY CRAP. I usually have no problem listening to spicy scenes on audio but Elsie wrote some epic spicy comments that had my mouth opening as Joe spoke them in his growly tone…I died! Absolute fire and HIGHLY recommend on audio!!!

Secret Babies and Cowboys

Reckless is now my favorite Elsie Silver book. There is communication, cowboys, steamy times, a baby that isn’t used as the main conflict between their hero and heroine, phenomenal character growth, and one of the best heroes I’ve read this year. Plus, Savannah Peachwood and Joe Arden are perfect narrators for this story.

Just stellar writing and relentless love!

The pacing and emotional arc are perfect. Every book in the series is so so good. You don’t need to relate to bull riding or ranch life to be obsessed. All you need are the stories of these characters! I can’t wait for Beau’s story!

• Thoughts:
This series is straight up amazing!!! I love it. This book was EVERYTHING!!! Elsie, you did a finaminal job writing this!! I loved everything about this book. I laughed, I got teary-eyed, I swooned, and had a big a$$ smile on my face while going through this book. Theo was so amazing with Winter. He was so great and loving, his patience, and his acceptance of her. God Winter, my heart broke for her and what she thinks and feels. I absolutely adore her! (I am electing teary-eyed now just thinking of her thoughts) Ugh. But my god. I have not loved a couple more than I do with these two. Vivi, Peter, they are perfect!!! Theo and his dirty mouth, Winter and her Trucker mouth. Yes! I am so sad I read this so quickly. Lol, it looks like I get to listen to it again. (Not halyard broken about it either. Lol)
It was so good, Elsie!!!! So good!!

Narrators:
Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood were cast for this book, and they freaking nailed these two. I couldn't have imagined better narrators for Theo and Winter!!! Joe and Savannah both deserve a standing ovation! Bravo!!
