Another excellent book!

I love these strong women! Their past adversaries have caused some confusion, but (in this book) God is our (and the characters) tower of strength!

Love heals

Naturally, the narrator has again done an outstanding job. Such a pleasure to listen to her.
Love heals - but oh, the avoidable heartache secrets about past experiences/trauma bring!
A beautiful story about healing from the past, which could have happened earlier had the heroine RANDY shared things earlier with their godly friends and fiancé. Would/could have resulted in a shorter novel, but definitely a lesson for 'real' life: honesty, openness, trust, faith.
The little one, of course, brought many smiles and some chuckles.
The heroine's childhood trauma with a broken home/marriage and a mother on drugs, whom CPS should have tracked down and rid of her parental duties/privileges, has already triggered prayers for children just like her in the real world.
I'll be sure to listen this installment again and again - have already started to do so.

I definitely would recommend this book to a friend. It has a very interesting plots, real characters and painful human experiences.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Randy was my favorite character. I loved to follow her on her way, how she learned to put her fears behind her and give her heart to an abandoned baby.

What about Becky Doughty’s performance did you like?

It was excellent, I especially loved her performance as a baby.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was engaging, and I listened to it in one sitting. I wanted to know, how this family would come together.

Any additional comments?

A beautiful, inspiration romance, with real human dilemmas, heartbreaking decisions, and emotional growth. I loved growing relationship between Randy and the baby, who became like her own daughter. Highly recommended

Excellent

A story that shows one can do a lot more then one thinks,if one lets go of fear Showing also the test of faith and their love, will it be enough. With an infant to raise and a daughter needs to be found is not an easy picture to step into. Good story and good narration. Given audio for my voluntary review

Heart-touching!

These characters are so real! Their first reactions, when faced with an unexpected, unwanted obstacle, are so much like mine. But, they turn to God and the Scriptures for strength and direction. That is the only way that we can make it. Such an important lesson!

Great

I liked hearing the story of Randy and how she worked to make her relationship work. I really liked hearing how her friends were there to support her when she realized that things were going to be different than she first thought.

I love seeing the growth in this established couple. What an encouragement to see them struggle through curve balls and ending with a deeper relationship between themselves and God!

DAD, STOP WHINING. GET IN THE REAL WORLD

I was surprised in how the dad was living an unbelievable reality for his daughter. All the signs are there that the daughter was a selfish little prig. She acted like it was his fault she got pregnant. I know he believe she should keep the baby but he should have been ready to raise another child. It was confusing as to why he was willing to travel to Florida and Europe to get answers from the selfish little prig that she did not want her child. She had already told him that in a letter and phone call. Hello get a CLUE she did not even leave him a crib. I also did not understand why he kept complaining he did not have time for this because he was getting married and he only had so much vacation time. But, he was willing to take time off from work for this. The private investigator he hired could have gotten the same answer he did from the selfish little prig. WOW.

I get how Randy had a mental issues from her past. However, Girlfriend needed some therapy. No matter how she survived her mother and promised to not say anything to anybody about what her mother did to her she still was a victim. This is what abusers tell their victims, don't tell what I have done. She lived a victims life until she finally start talking about it.

The funny thing is as a Christian, her mother should have been willing to tell her past and how coming to Jesus changed her. What a perfect opportunity to share real life and His love.

As you can tell this was not one of my favorite books from Ms. Srock. This was too whiney.
