Excellent story I cannot wait to hear the next boo
Plausible story and well written! A bit heavy in the details but that makes me appreciate the author’s accuracy. The narrator does miss pronounce some common and obvious military slang.

Perfect balance

The Mother of all wars
I was a kid when the first Gulf war occured and was amazed how quickly it was over. In this alternate take things went a bit different.
It feels like a set up for a great mini series and the sad thing is these books always end when you really get pulled in.
Definitely will be awaiting the next book and the books that follow.
FYI - they got ol Bush senior down to the last word.

I Can Suspend Belief But Not This Much
I love alternate history books and will dive into them knowing I have to suspend some rational thought in order for that alternate universe to work. Unfortunately, some books ask you to suspend too much of your thought and this is one. If I knew absolutely nothing of history, this book would be fine but the fact is I have degrees in it, teach it, and it is my hobby. The characters in the book read more like Bond villains than their real life counterparts and the audio performance was painful to say the least - especially the "Russian" accents. I like James Rosone but this one is a definite skip.

Ok story, bad narrator.
I imagine the story would have been good if read. Listening to it was difficult. The narrator ruined it for me. Oh yeah, there is no ending to the book and the rest of the series is unavailable.

there was no ending to the story there was no conclusion. the sequel is not available and there's no information about it. the story was okay but it just ended in the middle of the book. not cool

so stupid!
The authors try desperately to emulate a Tom Clancy techno-thriller. The difference is that Clancy actually knew a lot more than just the names and specs of the equipment involved.
This book is extremely unrealistic in terms of the combat, stresses or geo-politics involved.
The narrator is terrible. Russians and Arabs have the same accent, which is sort of Transylvanian.
Give this one a miss, fellow readers...
