Great Book! Some pronunciation mistakes.

Loved the context and experience conveyed. I wanted to gain an appreciation for in-flight refueling as I enter a career in that world here soon. It was an eye opening listen!
As a military guy, some of the pronunciations of certain terms/acronyms were weird as well as the odd enunciation of things like “K” “C” “135” that would sometimes catch my attention enough to pull me out of the immersion.

I will certainly buy the physical copy!

Tankers

This book was a good insight into the workings of the huge amount of support that the tankers give to all air operations.

Leadership from the Real Frontline

Mark’s ability to take you on his lifelong journey as a real life tanker pilot on the frontlines of all of our modern day conflicts and to be able inject business and life lessons at the end of each story makes for both a riveting and entertaining experience.
The application of his wartime experiences with applicable life and business lessons is what any and all corporate leaders should strive for on their “frontlines”.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to be both entertained as well as looking for pure and simple business acumen and lessons to be learned.

A fantastic book

But the narrator was not easy to listen to. You’d be far better off actually reading the book because so much is lost in translation. The book itself is an interesting insight to how tankers play such a vital roll to AirPower both in war as well as everyday operations

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was there in Desert storm, so I did tear up several times, I remember seeing and hearing the jets overhead. And sleeping to the rumbing ground from the bombs dropping.
