I’m a pixie.

If there was a level zero of supernaturals, I’d be on the sub-basement level.

I’m not super-strong or fast or crazy-smart, and the little bit of pixie magic I do have is limited to the most basic things that any human street magician can do.

So when a pack of coyote shifters and their Alpha start hunting me and threatening the only remaining family I have left, I realize I’m going to need some paranormal help to fight them off. I do the only sane thing I can think to do. I flee to Moonhaven Cove and beg help from the local PNW council and the town’s sheriff.

It seemed like such a well-thought-out plan...until the council lets Hux and his creepy pack of coyotes in.

So now, in between dodging homicidal coyote shifters, I’m working with the sexy star elf at his comedy club, helping the unluckiest leprechaun ever avoid carnivorous office equipment, hanging out with a genie, and becoming BFFs with the lion shifter sheriff who is strangely attached to his strawberry yogurt. I don’t really have time for a relationship.

But when Rhys looks at me, I forget the many reasons starting something with him would be a terrible idea. Rhys is tender, kind, flirty, and fun. He makes me laugh. And before long…I can’t imagine living the rest of my life without him.

Needs professional editing

It was okay but definitely for the younger crowd. The writer or editor really NEEDS TO LEARN SOME GRAMMAR RULES. She doesn’t know when to use “I” vs “me” in a sentence and got it wrong 99% of the time. Pet pieve but if you’re writing a book shouldn’t the grammar be correct?
Other than that, I like that it was clean and fun.

Great continuation of the Moon haven Cove series

I think my favorite part of this book is Dice's magic, it's definitely something I wish were real! I mean to have someone just look at you and not only know what's wrong and know how to help would be amazing.

I love reading Bearly Yours on Kindle Unlimited and can't wait for it do come to Audible!

Unique

This was a fun read. It had unique characters and an interesting plot. I’m sure I missed a few things since this is part of a series and this is the only book I’ve read, but I didn’t feel like I was lost.
The narrator was great- my only complaint was that she didn’t change her voice much between the main characters so sometimes I was a little lost on who was speaking (the girl or the boy).

arrgh!

Rhys is pronounced Reese! this was annoying in the first book but AGGRAVATING in this one.
Otherwise, it was the same stilted narration and nil changeover to a male narrator for the male pov chapters (leading to the same occasional confusion - fine if you're following closely but these books just aren't good enough to follow closely - I ran errands to this one all day and don't feel like I missed anything important).
Not sure I'm going to bother with the next book, especially as it's not any of the main characters. I was hoping for Meseryn (gargoyle - who knows how that's spelt - she probably doesn't even pronounce it correctly) or Finn or Lucky, but given the title I'm guessing it's her bear bodyguard

Fun to read

A whole new set of lovable characters. More action than I was expecting. Love the simple ways the world building keeps expanding.

Below average

I liked the first book in the series. This book is a muddled mess. No rationale is given for much of the plot points. Important things happen off the page. So much doesn't make sense. Why does she not use her wings to get away from attackers when she is outside? As for the narration, it isn't bad, but it isn't great. This narrator doesn't do a particularly good job of creating different voices for the different characters. The whole narration comes off as bland. However, that may be partly due to the material.
