This audiobook is full of great advice

This audiobook is full of great advice for first time parents, even if you do not follow "the routine". We are trying to follow it, but we have not yet been successful at establishing the routine.

However, it is a great starting point. Before the book, life with our new baby was very random and chaotic. With Emily's book, we at least have targets to aim for whether things are going well or not.

Both of us are doctors and what she says makes a lot of sense from a medical science point of view. It is clear that she has looked after a lot of babies both in and out of hospital.

I would not say that this is the only way but it is a great place to start if you would like some order and routine in your life.

Her book is very much about getting your baby into a routine that fits well around parents' sleep and sanity!

This audiobook provides wonderful information

This audiobook provides wonderful information about what to expect at each stage in a baby's development. This author is incredibly thorough. Every question I've had as my baby has progressed from newborn to one year has been thoroughly answered in this audiobook. I would definitely recommend this book to any new parent!

Great reference guide.

Could not believe so much has changed since my last baby. I'm already referring and re-referring this audiobook. I bought the book based on recommendations but was positively surprised by how comprehensive the coverage of topics is. It covers not only the top questions but also a few key topics, such as breastfeeding and sleeping. Great reference guide.

This is a super helpful, informative audiobook for first-time parents. I even bought a paper version as a gift. My daughter refers to it all the time. So helpful!

Love this audio guide into parenting baby...

Love this audio guide into parenting baby... I have used it constantly since my son's birth. I like the way it is organized by topic and then by questions. Also, the info seems as evidenced-based as it can be, and reasonable advice. I would highly recommend it as a first-time mom.

Great guide

A great guide to what to expect and how your baby should be developing. A lot of really helpful medical and developmental information without a lot of anecdotal add-ins - just enough to give a sense of real advice and experience. Clear and to the point. I loved that this was written by medical professional and mom. Glad I purchased!

This is by far my most favorite baby book

This is by far my most favorite baby book, I would say if you don't want to read or listen to a lot, just buy this one and it will be enough to cover all the main topics about the newborn baby.

This audio is very helpful for first-time parents and even parents who are not beginners! I forgot a lot of information between my first and second child, and I had to listen to this book. Answers for many questions.

This audiobook helped my husband

This audiobook helped my husband and I (who have never been near a newborn in our lives) to feel comfortable and confident as new parents. Seriously, people, a lifesaver. Don't start parenthood with the anxiety of the unknown - this audio edition will help you understand sleep, feeding, what's normal, what's not for every stage and set up healthy routines from the start. We read and listened to it over and over again as we navigated the first few days.

Favorite parenting audiobook of all time. One I listen to it again and again. I also can't stop talking about it. People who know me know it's only a matter of time before I quote this book in any given conversation. Each chapter gives easy methods to implement strategies for care and bringing your babies up in a healthy, slow, way. Can't recommend enough!!
