I LOVE THIS SERIES

Another lovely book from T. Kingfisher. Definitely some dark bits, but the characters are wonderful and there is humor throughout.

Paranormal Romance

This is the second book in the Saint's of Steel series. Each book can be read as a stand alone. Each story is the adventure of a different Paladin. Themes include shifters, magic, and found family.
I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrator does an excellent job bringing the characters to life.

This is a delightful, witty fantasy. It is not an epic fantasy. This story is character driven. Even the secondary characters are well developed. The protagonists struggle with self worth in different ways adding to their depth. Who or what would you sacrifice for someone else? What are you willing to overlook? These questions add interest to the challenges they face.
This is a light, easy. read. The banter had me laughing. There are some sexual situations that are not descriptive and occur off page. I recommend these books after a heavy read or for a pick-me-up, it will certainly lift your mood.

Love this series!

I'm having a fantastic time with this series! Wonderful characters and great plot. Love the narrator.

Good for repeated listens

The narrator’s soothing voice is what draws me to the Saint of Steel series, but the gentle humor keeps me hooked. My favorite thing about this one is that there isn’t a size disparity between the hero and heroine. As a 5’9” woman, I get tired of all the little girls with their giant guys. Clara’s size and strength are a big part of her appeal to Istvhan.

excellently balanced humor and romance

witty, engaging and lovely. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The narrator is also perfect for this series and does a fabulous job. I will be reading/listening to these again!
