I listened to many ocean sound recordings before choosing this one. Most of the others were too loud (crashing waves) or had other nature sounds mixed in. Some sounded scratchy. This one is a very high quality recording of the sounds of the ocean. There are different wave sounds, but all are calming and soothing. I can listen to it while meditating or while reading. Excellent.
