Great potential

The story took a bit to get anywhere, but I see potential in the story. I will certainly read the rest of the books in the series.

The world building and personal interactions.

I honestly just love the concept of this story and cannot wait to find out more.

All of the best stories are meant to get you involved, and man I'm already there.
Clay is an adorable man child and T is the worst C*** tease ever. There are reasons for it of course which is what pulls you in.
What's up with this only after midnight business, seems like a sh** deal.
Anyway love, love, love, and love this series already.I am in it until the very end.
If you like this genre then buckle up buttercup and enjoy this lunacy with the rest of us.

The lack of sexual devourment

I like the story but the incredibly slow burn aspect going across books is utterly unnecessary and ridiculous!

Brilliant performance, cool story

Really engaging with some great voice work. Also a little frustrating in a few aspects (including an ongoing, severely unnecessary lie that I couldn’t help rolling my eyes at every time it came up), and an ending that came so suddenly I got whiplash. BUT all that just means I need more!

This book was a combination of elements that I liked and some that felt off.

This is a new author for me. I am so happy that I found them. I love this series.

sid say thus is a slow burn adventure

alright so I adore the naration his voice is perfect.

the story is whar I'd call slow burn adventure it takes a long while to get going. the characters once you warm up to them are pretty great.

if your wanting a fast pace adventure this isn't that in my opinion, it's pretty good but it took over three hours to really draw me in.

Twink-Sugar Daddy romance in UF setting

Clay is a street urchin who says “gosh,” sucks lollipops, and listens to Kylie Minogue. Tae, an almost three centuries old vampire billionaire, invites him to live in his mansion (their 1st conversation), kisses his socks off (2nd run-in) and gives him a massage to end all massages (3rd time together). So, yeah, this is MM romance first, where the urban fantasy is mostly just a pretext to bring them together.

I loved the narration except for the choice of voice for Clay Christmas (yes, really, that’s his last name). The voicing for Clay, combined with how he’s written, makes it feel like Clay is more teen waif than grown man, lending this a troublesome air of exploitation.

As for the urban fantasy, there’s a barely there plot of a button-man menace, who appears briefly for three scenes and a partial villain reveal at the end that does little more than tease the next “book.” This is essentially one romance padded with magic and drawn out over five books. It’s harmless fluff, i suppose, but I’m mildly put out at thinking there’d be grown up urban fantasy and sizzling (not sugary) MM romance. If I hadn’t have already bought a bunch together, I’m not sure I’d have moved on.
