Not what I expected

Well-written teenage angst. Granted neither of the two teen protagonists had an easy life. But following their series of increasingly bad decisions doesn’t make for a good story, and definitely not one I’d expect from John Gilstrap. There was no character for an adult reader to identify with, or at least find interesting. I missed Digger and Big Guy and their team, missed the intense action and serious jeopardy Gilstrap brings to every page.
