After being shot in the head during a dangerous high mountain operation in the rugged Watapur Valley in Afghanistan, Jimmy returns to battle with his teammates for a heroic rescue, the bullet fragments stitched over and still in his skull. In a cross between a suicide rescue mission and an against-all-odds mountain battle, his team of PJs risk their lives again in an epic firefight. When his helicopter is hit and begins leaking fuel, Jimmy finds himself in the worst possible position as a rescue specialist - forced to leave members from his own team behind. Jimmy will have to risk everything to get back into the battle and bring back his brothers.

Respect!
Wow. This was a new kind of story for me, as someone with no military connections. Glad I went for it. Learned a lot and gained a new respect for those PJ's and all our servicemen and women. Good performance. Story was a bit zig zagging and I had a few rewinds to see if I had missed a transition that wasn't there but overall I recommend it!

Great insight into the world of SF
I’ve read several books about pjs over the years, but this is the first one I’ve read that was actually written by a pj. The insight the author brings to his own preparation for indoc is the most valuable part of the book in my opinion, but the whole story is inspiring! Definitely recommend if your looking for more info about pjs.

Captivating
This was an amazing listen. I knew nothing about this field but chose the book based on Price and reviews. This is an amazing listen, filled with adventure, inspiration and information for those who know nothing of the requirement of PJ's. The engaging narrator made it sound like it was his own story. I was both surprised and disappointed on behalf of the writer by the ending.
