Awesome mix of Special Forces, Leadership, Afghan War

Great book. I could not put it down. Many lessons on leadership and using situational awareness to make decisions and resolve problems. Great insight to hopefully changes in our military leadership methods that you can take into your own life!!

Great book made more famous since the release of the book “Alone at Dawn”

I had already read the book “Alone at dawn” and found that book really interesting and well done. This author has his own perspective on the Operation Anaconda and the Battle of Takur Ghar and other missions.

Good read.

I enjoyed the real life perspective of the book. It was both entertaining and enlightening.

It was a fine illustration of the flaws of military hierarchy versus the person on the ground sharing information with other friendly elements.
