Pleasantly surprised!

I loved the story and writing style of the book. Just when you think you’ve figured it out there’s a plot twist and just when you think the story is over, there’s another one! Overall a great book and I enjoyed it very much. The performance kept me engaged and wanting more.

Great storyline

The plot twists in this book were on point, as soon as I would start to guess the ending, NOPE! Great story, Can't wait for the others to be released as audiobooks!

This book had me hooked from the start. Loved the narrator and the storyline. Already reserved book 2 in the series! I did not see all those twists coming! Great read!

Family bonds and hidden secrets

Great story! Enjoyed the overall plot. Definitely had some twists I wasn’t expecting. The storyline reels you in, the characters are well developed, you get bits and pieces of a puzzle no one knows they are part of and when the final piece is laid in it’s a magically murderous picture.

Great First Novel

If I'm not mistaken, this is Spencer Guerrero's first novel He's got a wonderful talent for prose and dialog without going overboard with long unnecessary simile's. The story winds its' way through love, loyalty, revenge and secrets into twist and turns that will have the reader positive they figured it out, when they didn't. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book by Spencer. It's already queued up in my library.

Kept me guessing!

This book had me from the first chapter! So many twists in this one! I absolutely loved it. The narrator did a great job as well! I thought i had this book figured out a few times. It was great and left my jaw on the floor because I didnt see that one coming lol.Great job Spencer, keep them coming!

not for me

i wanted to like this book but more times then not I just felt annoyed while reading it. some repetitiveness and overreaching themes. it just wasn't for me
