Better than Reading

Okay, I'll be honest. I've sort of tried audiobooks before and just couldn't stay focused on the story. However, My Favorite Kidnapper by Melanie Moreland changed all that. The time flew by as the narrators wove the story around me. I could close my eyes and see what I was hearing and it made the story that much better. I loved reading the ebook, but this was next level. Dante and Brianna's story is a laugh out loud, steamy romance with a sweet tooth. You have to read or, better yet, listen to this work of art.

Fun and sweet story

This was such a light and fun story to listen to. It was different from what I would usually pick-up but so glad I got to experience it. The bonus epilogue was everything! The narrators did a great job bringing the story to life.

Definitely my favorite kidnapper!

This was such a sweet and charming story. I had a lot of fun with it and really enjoyed seeing both points of view. Very unique storyline!

Cute Rom-Com

My Favorite Kidnapper follows Brianna (a baker) and Dante (a thief/art collector). This is age gap, instalust, kidnapping, curvy heroine, morally gray hero, rom-com. Dante meets Brianna at a wedding, and decides that wants her and her cupcakes. He tells her that she will come with him and she sort of believes him, but is convinced when she goes to sleep in Toronto and wakes up in Italy! She is sassy and he loves it! Brianna doesn’t really mind being kidnapped by Dante, and it turns into a joke with them. The 3rd act break up is reasonable for the story. The romance is pretty cute. The spicy scenes are awkward, and they help further the romance. This a solid read that I did find myself chuckling with.

Just loved it. The storyline was amusing and the performance were spot on! Highly recommended.
