Narrator Jennifer M Dixon changing how she is interpreting the voices of younger characters, unpleasant

I have enjoyed this long run authors mrs Jeffries series. Even when narrators changed i perceived the sense of the characters remained true to the authors interpretation and very enjoyable, until this book. Now this very talented Narrator, Jennifer M Dixon, has changed how she is interpreting the voices of younger characters, Betsy and Wiggins as well as others. Her voice tone has become unpleasantly high pitched, whiney and screeching for these character’s dialogues. Not sure i can carry on w series if this continues w future books. I know voice tone appeal is unique to each individual so others may find it tolerable. Sad, as i am enjoying this authors work and will miss following her work
